Camino 2.0 Release Candidate (RC1) announced
Just over a a month after the release of Camino 2.0 Beta 4, the web browser for Mac OS X, the Mozilla team has issued Release Candidate (RC1), which is available via the software update function within the browser.

The Camino project is almost as old as Firefox, and also uses the Gecko engine renderer. The main difference is that the user interface is based on the Cocoa environment, rather than XUL (as used in Firefox), which is more efficient with Mac OS.
The preview site for Camino (currently still showing the availability of Beta 4) is at http://preview.caminobrowser.org/
Cloud Testing is currently working to integrate the Camino browser into it’s Functional and Cross Browser testing service – see the Cloud Testing website at http://www.cloudtesting.com/ for further details.
